In an impressive entrance to the Gold Coast market, Marquee Development Partners’ luxury La Belle apartments in northern Palm Beach have achieved over $100 million in sales within just two weeks of their launch. This remarkable success underscores the enduring strength of the southern Gold Coast property market.

La Belle Palm Beach has emerged as the fastest-selling project of 2024 in the city, with sales prices ranging from $2.5 million to $7 million. Marquee’s Director, Jacques Winterburn, noted that the sales reflect an unyielding demand for the rare, absolute beachfront apartments in Palm Beach, driven predominantly by local buyers from the southern Gold Coast.

“It’s a remarkable outcome for Marquee, our 11th and most impressive project to date. The response has been overwhelming but expected. To receive over 1000 inquiries before launch underscores the considerable demand for this project and location,” said Mr. Winterburn.

“The majority of buyers have emerged from the Palm Beach and southern Gold Coast, with some from Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne”.

“Buyers have loved the layouts, uniqueness of the absolute beachfront position and the amenities package reflective of the large beachfront site – more than 3,300 square metres with over 40 metres of absolute beach frontage – which we are spending more than $10 million enhancing with world-class amenities.

Significant interest has also been observed from buyers in Burleigh Heads, many of whom are looking to transition from esplanade-front properties to absolute beachfront residences in the serene northern Palm Beach area while maintaining close ties to Burleigh.

A substantial number of purchasers are local business owners seeking to downsize or acquire lock-and-leave apartments.

Set to rise 14 levels, La Belle Palm Beach will offer 75 premium beachfront apartments available in three-, four-, and five-bedroom configurations. The residences will feature expansive living spaces ranging from 150 sqm to 680 sqm, catering to the discerning owner-occupier market of the thriving Gold Coast.

Capitalizing on the spacious site, Marquee has integrated a series of five double-storey beach homes into the development. These homes will feature generous living areas of up to 388 square meters, providing an added layer of luxury.
