Ellipse Property, a prominent Sydney-based property developer, has officially commenced the demolition phase of Stage One in its ground-breaking $850 million master-planned community, Carrington Place. This expansive residential development stands as the largest of its kind in Castle Hill, nestled within Sydney’s burgeoning Hills District.

Situated at 40-42 Ashford Avenue, Carrington Place is strategically located opposite the Hills Showgrounds Metro Station, right in the heart of Castle Hill. The project, set to feature a total of 771 apartments distributed across five buildings ranging from 8 to 12 storeys, is a testament to Ellipse Property‘s commitment to transforming the local landscape. Stage One, named Atrium, is slated for completion in Q4 2025.

Atrium will be housed within an eight-storey mid-rise building, offering a total of 152 apartments and a diverse array of amenities. Residents will have access to rooftop recreational spaces boasting panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Notably, the project emphasizes the creation of home-like apartments or residences with house-sized proportions.

Ellipse Property enlisted the expertise of Decode, a renowned construction company, to oversee the completion of the Carrington Place project. The initial phase involves the demolition of two adjacent residential houses, with construction set to commence in Q1 2024.

Puja Khanna, Associate Director at Ellipse Property, expressed excitement about the commencement of demolition, highlighting the project’s significance for the company. Khanna stated,

“Today marks a significant milestone for our entire team as we embark on the construction program of our most significant project to date, Carrington Place.” She added, “As the largest residential project in Castle Hill, Ellipse Property is delighted to be delivering such a significant multi-staged, game-changing project for the local Hills community, a major component of the transformation and evolution of Castle Hill.”

Carrington Place, launched in October, has already garnered strong demand from local buyers seeking spacious, high-quality apartments and demonstrating confidence in the developer and builder.

Decode, Ellipse’s construction partner, received the 2023 Urban Taskforce Development Excellence Award in the Mixed-Use Development category for its Burwood Grand residential project earlier in the year. The company was also among the first 20 construction firms to earn a gold star iCIRT rating from the Office of the NSW Building Commissioner in May 2022, promoting transparency and trust in the industry.

The architectural brilliance of Carrington Place, designed by Tony Owen Partners in collaboration with Stanisic Architects, seamlessly integrates with the natural landscapes surrounding it. The precinct will feature over 20,000 square meters of outdoor recreational space and lush gardens, making it one of the greenest master-planned communities in the Hills District.

A highlight of the project is a one-kilometre boardwalk along the Cattai Creek, connecting to Fred Caterson Reserve, a 58-hectare local reserve with various recreational facilities.
