Queensland developer Azure is set to break ground on its latest project, Elwood, after securing 51 unconditional sales since its launch in Q4 of 2023.

Elwood is an exclusive gated community located on a prime 34,200sqm site at 9 Light Horse Court, Mango Hill, nestled by a tranquil nature reserve. The project is currently selling, with Stage 1 already sold out.

Once complete, Elwood will comprise 68 terraces featuring a variety of layouts: 4-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom, and 2-car; 3-bedroom plus MPR, 2.5-bathroom, and 1-car; 3-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom, 1 or 1+1-car; and 4-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom, and 2-car units.

The Mango Hill market, characterized by established detached housing with limited supply, has attracted increased interest from investors due to the rise in infrastructure, amenities, and connectivity in the north.

“Commencing construction on Elwood is a significant milestone for Azure and underscores our commitment to providing our customers with an experience that goes beyond the design and construction of our communities and into the fabric of their day-to-day lives,” said Azure Director Trent Keirnan. “Elwood brings superior living options that possess the hallmarks of an upscale lifestyle facility to a region that has a scarcity of options to meet the demand of buyers.”

“This project is a perfect blend of urban living with a nature reserve, creating a unique sense of city convenience and natural beauty, designed to cater to the needs of modern families,” Keirnan added. “There is a meticulous selection of amenities that elevate modern living, embodying resort-style living and offering premium leisure options, reflecting Azure’s dedication to resident wellbeing.”

Elwood residents will enjoy a range of communal amenities spread across 845sqm, including a 17-metre swimming pool with a shallow play area, day beds under fixed cabanas, private gardens, sunlounges, amphitheatre seating, and a 7376sqm communal lawn.

Elwood offers a unique combination of city convenience and natural beauty, with its close proximity to recreational activities such as lakeside leisure, parks, cycling trails, community events, dining, cinema, cultural events, and easy access to Westfield Shopping Centre.

Azure boasts an enviable record of project delivery, enhanced by its own construction arm, Azure Build. Since its founding in 2014, Azure, a privately-owned real estate development and investment company, has delivered more than 1,400 terraces, units, and residential lots.

The company’s active portfolio of seven developments is valued at over $500 million, including One Earle Lane, Oakmont, and Dahlia, with a future pipeline exceeding $1.3 billion.

Elwood is set to be completed in Q3 2025.
